I need to share some unfortunate news, that we have decided to sunset DropResponder (previously Pigeon), the gmail CRM tool.
As messaging and Google compliance standards continue to be increasingly rigorous for oAuth and Chrome extensions, the time and cost of maintenance isn’t feasible for us to continue. Additionally, we are focusing our efforts on DropFunnels and serving our marketing clients there.
“Keep the main thing, the main thing” is an important reminder, even if unpopular decisions like this need to be made.
TIMELINE OF EVENTS:
- As of March 1, all billing subscriptions will be cancelled, and you will not be billed after that date. Additionally, active support will end. You’re also free to contact us if you’d like to cancel your subscription earlier.
- You’re able to continue using the product as-is until March 31 / April 1 where we’ll begin winding down the infrastructure. If you “uninstall” it from Chrome, it cannot be reinstalled, as it’s already been pulled from the extensions marketplace for new users. We recommend keeping it installed, provided you want to continue using it until this date.

- Looking for an alternative? We recommend Gmass (gmass.co) to help you continue using Gmail as a mass emailer.
